BEING IDLE MIGHT ACTUALLY BE WORTH ALOT MORE

Now I understand why Bruno Mars " Lazy song" was actually a hit despite the repeated chorus of "today I don't feel like doing anything". This design piece that I did for myself was actually inspired by me doing nothing.

So it was one of these days that I was so bored and actually contemplating on counting rice or watching paint dry. Stupidly, I started going through the little pile of fabric I had brought from campus after four years of what I thought was a waste of time and money .I found one piece  I could actually use. It was some fabric bought for some project that I either never did or never bothered to do. Anyway the fabric was interesting, and I could feel its energy (yeah I'm crazy, I know it too) and slowly ideas started flowing. At first like a joke, then I started trying things out one after the other.
It felt like an unplanned party, first the tape measure came in, then the patterns, then the iron box and before I realized it, I couldn't stop bringing more stuff.

With a lot of cutting and measuring and an occasional snack, things became much more realistic and clear cut for the blazer in the picture above.Unfortunately, it was sold the first day I tried wearing it and these are the only memories I have of it...
